Functional Imagery Training

Functional Imagery Training (FIT) is a new motivational intervention based on Elaborated Intrusion theory (Kavanagh, Andrade & May, 2005). It is delivered in the empathic style of motivational interviewing but elicits and trains imagery of positive, proximal goals to facilitate healthy choices at moments of goal conflict
